Roadmap to Business Programs
Translate your passion into a productive enterprise. From business formation to management and marketing, the MiCreate network is a destination where survivor creatives can explore the opportunities of their craft without fear of censorship, revictimization, or the feeling of going at-it alone.
Business coaching experiences are designed to support entrepreneurs at different phases of their journeys, with continued support for incorporated businesses and returning MiCreate clients.
Incubation to Incorporation Cohort
Best fit for:
First-time MiCreate clients
Referrals from partnering organizations
Businesses not-yet incorporated
Program style:
In cohorts of up to 15 businesses, participants will engage in bi-monthly, virtual community coaching sessions. Sessions will cover ideation, business plan writing, management, and sustainability. The program will conclude with an Incorporation Clinic during which participants will be encouraged and guided through the process of legally incorporating their business.
In session:
The next cohort will begin on Tuesday, August 6 and run every first and third Tuesday of each month from 4-7PM CST until November 5th. The Incorporation Clinic will take place on November 19, 2024.

Acceleration Co-Working Cohort

Returning MiCreate clients
Businesses that are already incorporated
Program style:
Open to any 'Incubation to Incorporation' graduates or other MiCreate clients, this continuous cohort offers open and optional sessions geared towards networking, brainstorming, problem-solving, marketing, and more. You will leverage the collective creativity of the entrepreneurs participating in the cohort to grow your business.
In session:
The cohort opens on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 and will continue to take place on the second Tuesday of each month from 5-7PM CST.

1:1 Business Coaching
Best fit for:
Current and returning MiCreate clients
Program style:
Individualized business coaching sessions are available on an as-needed basis to any onboarded MiCreate clients to explore topic areas specific to your business concept and circumstances.
In session:
Coaching sessions are available by appointment on most Tuesdays between 11:45AM-4:45PM CST.
